Meet Dr. Arpi Khare

Pediatric Dentist Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia

Dr. Arpi Khare earned her dental degree from University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2013. During her time there, she served as President of Psi Omega Fraternity, Vice President of Gamma Pi Delta Honor Fraternity, Editor-in-Chief of the Dental Yearbook, and Social Chair of the class Executive Board, among many other activities. Graduating magna cum laude, Dr. Arpi was inducted into three honor societies, including the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society honoring students in the top of their class that exemplify scholarship, character, and potential promise for advancement in dentistry.

Following dental school, Dr. Arpi continued on to Virginia Commonwealth University to complete her specialty training in pediatric dentistry. During her time there, she was able to specialize in treating children of all ages and patients with special healthcare needs. It was there that she gained much experience in behavior management, trauma management, interceptive orthodontics, sedation dentistry, and dentistry under general anesthesia.

Additionally, Dr. Arpi participated in many volunteer and mission projects, such as the Jamaica Project and Mission of Mercy, which help provide dental care to underserved populations. Through these mission projects, she was able to gain perspective on the vast amount of our population with significant oral healthcare needs.

“It is my goal to educate children and parents on the importance of oral healthcare and focus on prevention before dental problems arise, all the while making the dental experience fun and enjoyable for every child.”

In her spare time, Dr. Arpi loves traveling the world, running, yoga, and spending quality time with her family. She and her husband are enjoying their home in Washington DC!
