Dr. Angela L. Austin is a board-certified pediatric dentist and the founder of Alexandria Children's Dentistry. She is known for her warm, compassionate approach and her commitment to creating positive, confidence-building dental experiences for children.
Dr. Angela earned her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed her pediatric dental residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC, where she served as Chief Resident. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
A Heart for Children & Community
Dr. Angela's career has always been rooted in service. She has provided care in underserved communities, worked with children affected by HIV/AIDS, supported families experiencing homelessness, and participated in international mission work. These experiences shaped her belief that every child deserves dignity, patience, and compassionate care.

As a mother of three, Dr. Angela understands the joys and challenges of parenting firsthand. She brings a calm, nonjudgmental, and supportive approach to every family she serves — treating each child as if they were her own.
Professional Recognition
Dr. Angela is recognized as a Top Dentist by both Washingtonian Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine. She currently serves as Vice President of the Alexandria Children's Dentistry.
