When Should My Child First Visit the Dentist?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children see a dentist by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth erupting. Early visits allow us to monitor development, answer questions, and help your child become comfortable in the dental environment.
Growing Smiles, Every Step of the Way
Baby teeth typically begin erupting around 6 months and continue through early childhood, followed by permanent teeth starting around age 6. Our team monitors tooth eruption patterns, jaw development, spacing and bite alignment, oral habits, and overall oral health.
Building Healthy Habits
We encourage brushing twice daily with a soft toothbrush, age-appropriate use of fluoride toothpaste, flossing when teeth begin to touch, and regular dental visits every six months. We're always happy to coach both parents and children — without pressure or judgment.
