Relaxing Sedation Dentistry for Comfortable Dental Visits

Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
Nitrous oxide is a safe, commonly used option to help reduce anxiety and improve comfort during dental care. It is administered through a small mask worn over the nose and allows your child to remain awake, responsive, and relaxed. The effects wear off quickly, and most children return to normal activities shortly after.
Nitrous oxide may be helpful for children who:
- Feel anxious about dental visits
- Are sensitive to sounds or sensations
- Have a strong gag reflex
- Need extra support to remain comfortable during treatment
General Anesthesia
In some situations, general anesthesia may be recommended to allow treatment to be completed safely and efficiently. This may be appropriate for very young children, children with significant anxiety, children with special healthcare needs, or those requiring extensive dental treatment.
We work exclusively with board-certified anesthesiologists who specialize in pediatric care to ensure the highest level of safety. All treatment is completed in a single visit while your child is comfortably asleep.
